Sales Support ManagerYour role and responsibilities:
The Pre-Sales Support Specialist will provide timely support to ABB Sales ABB Distributors Specification Engineers Contractors and End Users.
The work model for the role is: hybrid (#Li-Hybrid)
This role is contributing to the Electrification Product Sales group in Memphis TN.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Pre-Sales & Product Support: Provide pre-sales support and assist with accurate product selection for ABB electrical distribution and control products including competitor cross-referencing.
- Customer & Team Collaboration: Interact with customers and cross-functional teams (Sales R&D Supply Chain Product Management) to deliver commercial solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Case Management & Communication: Document customer interactions using Salesforce respond to inquiries via phone and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Global Coordination: Collaborate with global teams to support customer needs and maintain consistency in service and solutions.
Qualifications for the role
- Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical or related Engineering field or equivalent experience; minimum 5 years working with ABB and GE products.
- Product Expertise: Deep knowledge of residential distribution and control products including load centers transformers breakers motor control and MODBUS programming.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills; able to work effectively across all organizational levels and with U.S. customers via phone and email.
- Team Orientation & Adaptability: Works well in team environments demonstrating ownership and urgency to complete tasks and support customer needs.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
