You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailING Australia are looking to make a key appointment to our Risk Leadership team in the form of a Head of Operational Risk to lead our second line of defence team in Sydney.
Reporting locally to our CRO and globally to our Head of NFR Retail Rest of World this is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and managing the NFR framework and associated policies and procedures and challenging and advising on its implementation and the risk exposures in the business. The function is independent and organisationally segregated from business line management and employees that originate risk exposures.
This role will be critical in helping to enhance the risk culture at a business level across the bank. Advocating how we can do this and co-ordinating with first line colleagues to guide implementation. You will also be a key stakeholder in terms of navigating regulatory reviews transformations and ensuring the productivity of the risk team remains high.
This role would suit an experienced banking non-financial risk people leader who has proven experience managing risk transformations. It would also be highly beneficial to have exposure to IT Risk and working in a global environment.
