Job Summary
A new OASAS program is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as its Medical Director. This part-time leadership position offers the opportunity to play a key role in guiding clinical standards compliance and patient care in a newly established program.
The ideal candidate will be experienced detail-oriented and committed to providing high-quality psychiatric oversight in accordance with OASAS guidelines. This is a high-priority role with immediate availability.
Responsibilities Include:
- Serving as Medical Director for the OASAS program
- Providing psychiatric oversight and ensuring compliance with state and regulatory standards
- Reviewing and guiding treatment plans in collaboration with clinical staff
- Ensuring quality of care and appropriate documentation
- Advising leadership on program development and clinical matters
Ideal Qualifications:
- Board Certified Psychiatrist (required)
- Licensed to practice in New York State (required)
- OPRA enrolled (required)
- Prior experience with OASAS programs or addiction services preferred
