JOB TITLE: Tool and Die Maker

PAY RATE: $26-31/hour

Summary:

• Fabricate repair and maintain tools dies and fixtures used in manufacturing.

• Interpret engineering drawings blueprints and specifications to create precise tooling components.

• Operate manual machining equipment including lathes milling machines and grinders.

• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality both in-shop and on-aircraft.

• Collaborate with engineers and team members to develop innovative tooling solutions.

• Perform inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with specifications and standards.

• Assist with aircraft structures tasks including assembly installation and repair as needed.

• Fabricate aircraft parts per engineering and production requirements.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• 5 years of experience as a Machinist or Tool Maker.

• 5 years operating manual mill and lathe machines.

• 5 years reading and interpreting engineering drawings blueprints and schematics.

• 5 years working with precision measuring tools.

• Experience in aircraft heavy maintenance (Depot Level).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to work variable shifts including overtime weekends and holidays as needed.

• Regular and predictable attendance required.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
