TheCommunity Police Commission (CPC)envisions communities and Seattles police aligned in shared goals of safety respect and accountability. We listen to amplify and build common ground among Seattles communities affected by policing. We are a small but mighty team championing policing practices centered in justice and equity. The CPC staffs a board of volunteer Commissioners appointed by the Mayor City Council and the Commission.
THE JOB
We are recruiting a Deputy Director to manage our day-to-day operations and support the Executive Directors focus on strategic visioning and planning. We are looking for applicants who are anti-racist and pro-equity and want to have a real and lasting impact on improving how BIPOC and other marginalized communities experience policing. The Communications Community Engagement and Policy Directors will report to you.

This position is classified as a Manager 3 Exempt. The salary range for this position is $59.75-$89.61/hour; however the target salary range based on skills and experience is $81-$83/hour.
This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. Individual schedules will be based on agreement between the employee and management. You will be asked to attend meetings and events that occur on weekday evenings and weekends.
