JOB TITLE: Data Support Associate

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-time20 hours/wk

SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Friday; Flexible hours between 8AM-4:30PM (based on workload & meetings)

PROGRAM/LOCATION: HEAL Windsor CT *Please note the existing grant for this position is estimated to run for 2 years approx.

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

Detail-oriented and organized individual to maintain state and federal reporting functions in a timely and accurate manner in support of the organizations contract compliance requirements. Provide basic analytical support for quality metrics.
By:
Participating in the performance of a variety of duties involved in collecting entering and maintaining data into state and federal mandated electronic data systems.
Supporting reporting activities of CHR.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal reporting requirements for assigned systems and communicate changes to supervisor IT and program managers.
  • Draw and audit data for batch submission and communicate with supervisory and line staff EHR training support and leadership concerning systemic efforts necessary to improve data quality.
  • Manually enter data into outside systems as required.
  • Review data quality and correspondence between CHRs internal EHR and state and federal databases and communicate with supervisory and line staff concerning systemic efforts necessary to improve data quality.
  • Manually enter data into outside systems as required.
  • Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
  • Participates in staff meetings supervision trainings and other meetings as assigned.
  • Additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School diploma

Experience: At least three years demonstrated experience in entry of clinical and/or research data.

Training: Knowledge in database management utilization of Microsoft Office products data integrity and quality knowledge

COMPENSATION RANGE*:

$18.00/hour minimum and up commensurate upon experience.

*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
