Job Description
Job Title: Gastroenterologist - Permanent Position
Join our thriving multi-specialty group practice in Ashtabula Ohio!
Ashtabula Regional Medical Center an affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic is seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to be a part of our growing team of over 60 providers. Our facility is a 186-bed acute care community hospital fully accredited by the Joint Commission recognized nationally for quality and patient safety. Serving a regional population of approximately 98000 we offer various services including five community-based family health centers a high-volume office practice onsite lab and X-ray and a committed staff of healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- See 15-20 patients per day (non-negotiable)
- Provide outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine services
- Collaborate with a group of 2 physicians
- Manage a high-volume office practice
- Work alongside experienced Urologist
- Operate with fully trained staff including an advanced practice provider
- Utilize blocked time in the operating room
- Utilize a fully integrated EMR with the Cleveland Clinic Health System (EPIC)
- Benefit from a well-defined referral source from employed and affiliated primary care physicians
- Participate in on-call rotations (call 10 days per month)
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED)
- Active Ohio medical license (or in the process of obtaining) (REQUIRED)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (to be completed by start date) (REQUIRED)
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start) (REQUIRED)
- Must reside within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate (REQUIRED)
- Open to J1 or H1B visa candidates (REQUIRED)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Ohio medical license
- Board eligibility or certification in Gastroenterology
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- DEA registration
