Job Description
Locum Physician - OB/GYN in Gaylord MI
Join a dedicated healthcare team in the charming city of Gaylord Michigan! This practice offers comprehensive OB/GYN services with a focus on patient care and community engagement. With a facility that includes a 6-bed nursery and on-site lab and ultrasound capabilities you will be supported by an experienced nursing staff while providing care primarily for low-risk and high-risk pregnancies. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician committed to womens health and family care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide call coverage for OB/GYN services from 7 AM to 7 AM.
- Manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies ensuring comprehensive care for each patient.
- Perform required obstetric procedures including routine and complicated deliveries.
- Conduct gynecological procedures such as ectopic pregnancy management and cystectomies.
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize Meditech for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (no Board Eligible candidates).
- Current ACLS certification.
- Local providers only.
- Clean background suitable for quick credentialing.
- Participation in MI Medicaid/CHAMPS is required.
- COVID vaccination required at the time of name clearance.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Michigan state medical license or IMLC at the time of submission.
- MI CSR (Controlled Substance Registration) required.
