Job Description
Job Title: Locum Vascular Surgeon
Join a dynamic healthcare facility located in the beautiful city of Boise Idaho! We are seeking a skilled Vascular Surgeon for locum tenens coverage. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in high-acuity environments providing essential surgical care. This role requires availability for at least 12 days per month with a schedule of 6 on and 6 off. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped to handle Level II trauma cases and employs advanced technologies for patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide call coverage for vascular surgery services.
- Participate in on-call shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM ensuring adequate patient care.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain comprehensive medical records using EMR systems (Cerner Powerchart).
- Handle high-intensity cases in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Participate in the credentialing process providing necessary documentation.
- Capably manage call requirements including back-up coverage as needed.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Surgery with a focus on Vascular Surgery.
- Active Idaho medical license or active IMLC.
- Availability for a minimum of 12 days per month with a 6 on 6 off schedule.
- Current BLS certification.
- Local candidates are highly preferred.
- Verbal confirmation of COVID vaccination at the time of name clear is required.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification (REQUIRED).
- Active Idaho medical license or active IMLC (REQUIRED).
- BLS certification (REQUIRED).
- All necessary documentation for credentialing must be provided promptly.
