Locum Physician - Neurosurgery Opportunity in Hot Springs AR
Summary: Join a dynamic healthcare team providing high-quality neurosurgical care in Hot Springs Arkansas. This facility is a renowned Level II trauma center recognized as the busiest in the state. We are seeking a Neurosurgery locum to cover weekend call and conduct hospital rounds starting in late May. Embrace the opportunity to work in a supportive patient-centered environment equipped with advanced technology.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide call coverage and conduct hospital rounds on current patients.
- Manage trauma and emergency cases that present in the ER.
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with two neurosurgeons and two advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Handle a patient load averaging 10 or less per day.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Neurosurgery (required).
- Active physician license in Arkansas (required).
- Availability for scheduled weekend shifts in May through August.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Arkansas medical license.
- Board certification in neurosurgery.
