Job Description
IT Business Analyst
Job Purpose: Looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Responsibilities include requirements gathering system analysis analyzing process and working closely with cross functional teams to deliver effective digital solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather document and analyze business requirements for technology initiatives.
Conduct business process mapping to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
Work with project managers to ensure project timelines scope and quality are maintained.
Conduct gap analysis and recommend technology solutions aligned with business goals.
Support UAT by developing test cases coordinating testing activities and validating outcomes.
Prepare workflow diagrams process flows and use cases using tools such as Visio Jira or Lucid chart.
Liaise between business teams technical teams and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide post implementation support monitoring system performance and gathering feedback for enhancements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential qualifications include a Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or related field with 3-5 years of experience in IT or with IT Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum and waterfall methodologies.
Hands-on experience in data analysis reporting and dashboard creation.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
