About our client:
Our client is a leader in professional services and consulting providing a wide range of services including strategy consulting technology and systems integration and operations to a range of clients across Government Financial Services Utilities and more.
About the role:
An opportunity exists for a EBIP Lead Solution Engineer Engineer to work with one of their Big 4 Banking clients based in Sydney where you will design and build solutions to Integrate data from various cloud and on-premise sources preferably Azure using Informatica
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)/Intelligent Data Management Cloud(IDMC) and a strong background in cloud-based data integration ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement scalable data integration workflows using Informatica Cloud (IICS)/IDMC.
- Create and maintain data mappings transformations and workflows to support business and analytics needs.
- Integrate data from various cloud and on-premise sources preferably Azure
- Monitor and optimize ETL jobs for performance reliability and scalability.
- Strong knowledge in databases Teradata/Oracle/SQL Concepts and should be able to work on complex queries.
- Good to have knowledge in UNIX shell commands.
- Work with cross-functional teams (data engineers analysts application developers) to understand data requirements and ensure accurate delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues errors or performance bottlenecks in Informatica Cloud.
- Maintain documentation related to data flows architecture and processes.
Whats on offer
This contract is available for an initial 6-month term with likely extension on a long term project.
Located in Sydney this role offers a hybrid working arrangement.
