Job Description
INBOUND/OUTBOUND LEAD:
Kalman & Company Inc. is seeking a full-time warehouse team leader for our government client in Albany GA. Applicants must have a willingness to follow all safety and conduct rules and comply with company policies. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team.
Specific Duties:
- Oversee and direct daily administrative processes and procedures for Inbound/Outbound.
- Maintain warehouse staff by orienting and training employees.
- Ensure to address systemic issues provide performance metrics increase productivity and assuage operational friction points.
- Confirming that NSN and quantity of assets matches DD1348s noting and reporting discrepancies.
- Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
- Utilizing inventory management tools.
- Delivers and fulfills objectives and directions for the operations headquarters.
- Produces regular reports and statistics on a daily weekly and monthly basis.
- Briefs team leaders on the issues for that particular day.
- Communicate with management to confirm execution of supply and logistical processes.
- Ensures the health safety cleanliness and security of the work environment.
Required Education/Qualifications:
- Associate in Business/Management or 2 years equivalent experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC
- Two or more years of warehouse experience.
- Understanding computer operations to utilize inventory management tools spreadsheets and monitoring status of materials.
- Comprehensive competency in Microsoft Excel is critical.
