AWS is seeking a dedicated well-organized and customer-obsessed Executive Assistant to provide support for two leaders on the Data and Analytics S3 team. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with a long-term Amazonian and support a leader and organization responsible for a number of AWS services including S3 used by millions of customers around the world.
As part of a fun and highly collaborative team you will be comfortable working independently as well as actively engaging in shaping and nurturing our team this role youll be responsible for keeping your leader organized informed and on task by meticulously managing their calendar proactively anticipating needs and driving continuous improvements. Youll be able to manage multiple sometimes competing priorities and be flexible when new issues arise. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with leaders (inside and outside of Amazon) is crucial for this role.
Key job responsibilities Expertly manage complex executive calendars across multiple time zones Craft detailed efficient travel itineraries that optimize time and productivity Manage expense report coordination and submission Conceptualize and execute a diverse range of team events from social gatherings to large-scale staff meeting agendas global team meetings and off-sites. Partner with leaders to understand their priorities and build processes to make their organizations happier and more effective. A day in the life Working in a highly ambiguous environment you will complete tasks and projects quickly and with little to no guidance and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You will apply a superior attention to detail great organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility a sense of humor and most importantly grace under pressure. You will understand business priorities demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams. - 5 years of senior level leadership support or 3 years of Amazon experience - Experience leading process improvements - Experience with domestic or international travel coordination - High school or equivalent diploma - Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- 7 years of senior level leadership support experience - Experience in a fast-paced high-tech company - Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
