Your Role: This is an exciting Sales role within Octave to drive adoption of our unique suite of digital products in the market. Reporting to Octaves Head of Digital Sales this role will focus on building media agency relationships and driving revenue growth across Octaves Digital Audio VoD CTV Display and Branded Content solutions. The role will work across all News Broadcasting brands including talkSPORT Virgin Radio Times Radio and Talk as well as our extensive Podcast inventory catalogue.
Day to day you will:
Build and manage a high-impact agency and advertiser sales pipeline via prospecting pitching and closing new business.
Support the Digital Leads and Head of Digital Sales to deliver a sales strategy spanning Direct and Programmatic trading models that maximises revenue from your agency clients.
Meet sales revenue targets and KPIs driving adoption of Octaves growing suite of multi-channel solutions.
Maximise operational efficiency and forecasting accuracy with AI and CRM tools including sales tracking and enablement platforms and programs.
Create sales collateral for bespoke Sponsorship and Partnership opportunities.
Work collaboratively with your News Broadcasting Hub Team to define optimal outreach strategies and ensure Octaves suite of ad solutions are considered in all relevant News UK brief responses.
Work with digital sales activation and editorial stakeholders to consistently improve ideation and delivery of the sold campaigns to ensure post-sale world class service and delivery for our clients.
What were looking for from you:
A strong understanding of media agency and client processes and business objectives.
A genuine interest in the UK media industry with a passion for data-driven digital campaigns.
Demonstrable experience of working within the digital media space with creativity and a personal drive to create award-winning work.
Proven track record of building and nurturing relationships across a wide spectrum of agency disciplines.
Brilliant communication presentation and organisational skills.
We offer a flexible working arrangement where employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days per week. For the remaining two days there is the option to work remotely if desired.
