As a Senior Manager Digital - Social Media you will lead a team of art directors copywriters and production designers responsible for driving creative vision across multiple social channels. Your team will be responsible for developing breakthrough content from concept through execution focused on design and storytelling that resonates with guests while achieving marketing and business partner across functions including creative strategy merchandising technology and production. This role requires strong hands-on creative ability and the skill to clearly communicate ideas and direction across levels including senior leadership. Youll also help define digital social strategy and lead the expansion of capabilities across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead mentor and grow a social media creative team developing strength in art direction design and production capabilities
Drive the end-to-end creative process for social from ideation to final execution.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align on brand and connected campaign strategies.
Leverage social and digital trends insights and technologies to inform and elevate creative.
Champion guest-centric design and storytelling aligned with Targets brand promise.
Bring strategic creative thinking to business objectives balancing performance and engagement.
Advocate for scalable efficient processes and creative approaches using AI and tech solutions.
Foster team collaboration and strong partnerships with global and cross-functional teams.
Support talent development and team growth through feedback coaching and opportunity-building.
What makes you a strong fit:
10 years of professional experience with at least 4 years focused on digital and social media.
Bachelors / masters degree in design / marketing / communication
Proven leadership experience including talent development and performance management.
A portfolio that demonstrates creative range and strategic problem-solving.
Strong expertise in design tools creative technologies and AI applications in design.
Strong art direction visual design and conceptual thinking skills.
Understanding of user-centered design principles and digital content strategy basic familiarity with UX and front-end development is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to align stakeholders.
Strategic action-oriented and adept at managing multiple priorities.
Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence and build trust.
Passion for innovation continuous improvement and team development.
Flexible to travel as needed.
