POSITION:
The Superintendent of Schools Dr. Pascal Mubenga is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
Supervisor of Student Support Services
Alternative Instruction & Medical Leave Home Instruction

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold a Masters degree and a New York State School District Administrator (SDA) New York State School Supervisor (SAS) School District Leader (SDL) or School Building Leader (SBL) Certificate. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of the Whole School Whole Community Whole Child model. Three years of appropriate experience in a pupil personnel services tenure area preferred. Candidates with experience in school counseling and alternative instruction are encouraged to apply
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Buffalo Public Schools (BPS) Education Bargain with Students and Parents focuses on providing students and parents with a pathway to opportunity that will lead to achievement and success. Services for our Neediest Children and Families is one of the focus areas in executing a commitment to students and parents. Under the direction of the Director of Crisis Prevention and Intervention Supports the Supervisor of Student Support Services will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
Other duties deemed necessary by the Director of Crisis Prevention and Intervention Supports for the successful operation of the department
APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following the assessment of training experience credentials evaluation of service program needs and personal interview.
SALARY: Per Administrator salary schedule
