Job Description
The Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and repair of facilities equipment and systems throughoutMcCluskey Chevrolet.
JOB TITLE: Facility Maintenance Technician
REPORTS TO: Facility Maintenance Manager
LOCATION: Cincinnati OH
A SHORT LIST OF YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine inspections of premises and equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical systems (HVAC plumbing electrical)
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of facilities including groundskeeping
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Monitor and maintain building security systems
- Maintain records of work orders repairs and inspections
- Coordinate with external contractors when necessary
WERE LOOKING FOR A SELF-STARTER WHO MEETS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification preferred
- 2 years of experience in facility or building maintenance
- Working knowledge of HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment up to 50 pounds and work in various conditions. Extensive standing and walking required.
