Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team on the off shift and ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance practices including HVAC systems electrical systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes and ensuring a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
Develop implement and maintain teach scheduled and detailed maintenance planning schedules that drive continuous improvement.
- Support all elements of plant mechanical and electrical functions.
- Support training for maintenance and operational teams to continuously improve knowledge and skills to maintain optimal active focus.
- Continue process of building procedures to support knowledge sharing efforts.
- Partner with the Maintenance Manager to evaluate technicians for progressive pay structure.
- Manage and develop relationships with maintenance related vendors and contractors.
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.
- Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Redzone for tracking maintenance activities and schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities equipment and systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Manage electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage) and mechanical components to maintain optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with project management teams to plan and execute maintenance projects effectively.
- Train team members on best practices in maintenance procedures schematics interpretation and equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and inventory management.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within an industrial maintenance environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their application in maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in using CMMS for effective maintenance management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Strong project management skills to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills in English both verbal and written.
- Experience in facilities management with a focus on safety compliance.

Pay: $75000.00 - $82000.00 per year
