What Will You Do
- Perform Mechanical and structural design and analysis of pressure vessels heat exchangers piping systems support structures and instrumentation systems.
- Preparation of pressure vessel piping and structural code calculations.
- Engineering support of the drafting team tasked with preparing the detailed drawing packages for Production.
- Collaboration with Manufacturing and Weld Engineering to optimize designs for Production and to resolve design-related production problems.
- Collaboration with Procurement to assure timely definition and purchase of job materials to meet production needs.
Your Education Should Be...
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a four-year college or university
- 0-3 years of design manufacturing or co-op experience is a plus
Your Experience Should Be...
- Willingness to learn and practice multiple engineering disciplines such as vessel design design of steel structures and design of piping systems as required to accomplish the above listed essential duties.
- Strong academic skills
- Team player and ability to work effectively with people at all levels in customer and production support focus environment
- Familiarity with the ASME Pressure Vessel and Piping Codes is a plus
- Familiarity with ASCE IBC and other structural standards is a plus
- Proficiency in FEA and/or pipe flexibility analysis is a plus

This is an onsite office environment position located in our LaCrosse WI Chart Facility.
