Job Description
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in civil and structural engineering to oversee complex water resource and infrastructure projects. This role involves managing all phases of construction-from planning through completion-while ensuring timelines budgets safety standards and quality requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Plan coordinate and supervise construction projects from start to finish ensuring alignment with specifications timelines and budgets.
- Lead and supervise on-site teams subcontractors and vendors to maintain efficient workflows and high-quality results.
- Monitor and manage budgets project costs and resource allocation; negotiate with suppliers for cost efficiency.
- Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety protocols to maintain a safe compliant work environment.
- Implement quality assurance measures to ensure all construction activities meet industry standards codes and project requirements.
- Oversee wastewater infrastructure projects including treatment plants pump stations concrete tanks and pipelines-ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
- Communicate with stakeholders including clients architects engineers and regulatory authorities to ensure project transparency and alignment.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering Construction Management or related field.
- 5 7 years of construction management experience with a focus on civil/structural projects.
- Experience managing wastewater treatment plants pump stations concrete tanks or pipeline construction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with building codes and industry standards (e.g. ACI ASTM) and applicable safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques materials and testing methods.
