We are in charge of the office maintenance administration and daily operation of our offices and organizations in Europe also providing guidance and support to our branch offices all over Europe. With the fast growing of our business we are planning to increase our scale in personnel and spaces. About the role:
Office Assets Manager is responsible for overseeing the management maintenance and optimization of all the physical assets and office facilities. Key responsibilities include inventory management tracking assets lifecycle and coordinating with procurement and finance department. You also develop policies for asset utilization manage budgets related and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
This position will be based in Budapest which is the HQ of BYD in Europe. But your responsibilities will include the assets and facilities in all European countries wherever BYD has an office or organization there.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Policy Development: Create and implement policies for asset utilization storage and disposal to maximize effectiveness and adhere to compliance standards.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets related to office assets ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with organizational policies.
- Asset Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all office assets including furniture equipment IT hardware and supplies.
- Asset Lifecycle Management: Track the lifecycle of assets from acquisition to disposal. Plan for maintenance upgrades and timely replacement.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports on asset status maintenance activities and budget utilization for senior management.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with IT HR finance and procurement teams to support organizational goals related to office management.
- A very important part of this position will be fleet asset management which is listed separately as below:
Fleet Assets Management
- Track lifecycle of company fleet vehicles including employee cars pool cars and test cars.
- Oversee the proper fleet dimension ages usage work out the defleet/infleet planning make sure the utmost usage of the current fleet is achieved.
- Coordinate with fleet management teams to assess policies and make sure that local law and regulations are followed.
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards.
- Ensure proper cost control with the fleet management team.
- Generate reports on fleet vehicle management.
Profile:
- Bachelors degree in Facilities Management Business Administration or related field. 3- 5 years of relevant experience;
- Proven experience in asset management facilities management or office administration.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in asset management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills verbal and written;
- Excellent in English working level of Chinese and Hungarian is a plus;
- Able to multi-task aim to target and can work under pressure
