Job Description

We are seeking an experienced hands-on Senior Lodge Manager to oversee the operations of two luxury lodges located on the same property. This role requires a dynamic leader with exceptional organisational skills strong people management abilities and a passion for delivering world-class guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of both lodges ensuring consistent standards and seamless service delivery.

  • Lead train and motivate multi-disciplinary teams including front-of-house housekeeping maintenance kitchen and field staff.

  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining exceptional hospitality attention to detail and personalised service.

  • Implement and monitor operational policies procedures and standards to ensure efficiency and compliance.

  • Manage budgets cost controls and stock management across both lodges.

  • Liaise with the reservations and sales teams to optimise occupancy and revenue.

  • Oversee property maintenance and presentation to ensure the lodges remain in pristine condition.

  • Drive staff development and training initiatives to build a high-performance culture.

  • Coordinate and manage lodge events special functions and VIP guest experiences.



Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years lodge or luxury hospitality management experience preferably with multi-property oversight.

  • Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent financial acumen with proven experience in budget management and cost control.

  • Ability to work in a remote bush environment with a flexible and adaptable approach.

  • Hands-on management style with a keen eye for detail.

  • Computer literate (MS Office lodge management systems).

  • Valid driver s license and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
