Role and Responsibilities
As the Fraud Payments and Risk Manager you will:
Develop and implement comprehensive fraud detection and prevention strategies to protect the business and our customers
Manage all payment processing activities including card payments e-wallets and alternative payment methods
Oversee payment reconciliation chargebacks and refunds to ensure accurate accounting and reporting
Continuously monitor transactions and player behavior to identify anomalies and suspicious activity related to potential money laundering
Implement and manage AML compliance programs including KYC (know your customer) processes and reporting
Collaborate with the technology team to implement robust security measures risk management tools and responsible gaming controls
Assess operational risks recommend mitigation strategies and work cross-functionally to implement risk controls
Prepare detailed risk fraud and AML reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
Stay up-to-date on industry trends compliance requirements and best practices in fraud management payments and responsible gaming
Mentor and train other members of the operations team on fraud detection AML and risk management
Qualifications and Skills
5 years of experience in a fraud payments AML or risk management role preferably within the online gambling fintech or e-commerce industry
Strong understanding of AML regulations and best practices including KYC procedures and suspicious activity reporting
Familiarity with responsible gaming principles and the ability to implement controls to promote healthy player behavior
Comprehensive knowledge of payment processing card networks and alternative payment methods
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends patterns and risk indicators
Experience implementing and managing fraud detection AML and responsible gaming tools and technologies
Proficient in data analysis reporting and presenting complex information to stakeholders
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and make data-driven decisions
Proactive detail-oriented and committed to maintaining the highest standards of security compliance and risk management
