Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

This role focuses on the receiving section of the warehouse: both FedEx & checking in surgical implants returning from surgery. First you will train on multiple different product lines to learn all of the parts in the warehouse. Once you are fully trained and knowledgeable of all the parts and products in the warehouse you will inspect products or materials for damage defects or shortages. Communication with the team on a regular basis is crucial to the success of this role. You will interact with the team during service level investigations. Maintaining warehouse organization is imperative to avoid product errors. You will use the computer and different programs to track and maintain accurate inventory counts and records and for shipment of inventory. You will support management in preparation for branch audits of all inventory parts and products. Additional job responsibilities will include processing incoming orders for materials merchandise or service; informing customers of receipt shipping and delays; handling urgent requests; reviewing overdue shipment returns and partner with dispatcher to schedule the return; receiving daily inbound FedEx shipments; compare invoice to packing slips from FedEx; perform onsite hospital consignment scans every Wednesday gather consignment location product & ship out via contracted drivers; log discrepancies per CDC guidelines; communicate with internal customers regarding consignment items; use of multiple programs & platforms (ie Excel Oracle WebOps etc.); other duties as assigned.

PAY STRUCTURE

Minimum starting pay of $22 per hour Weekly Pay W-2 with no benefits

SHIFT DAYS & TIMES

Monday-Friday 9:00a - 5:00p Occasional weekends as required by Stryker.

*Wednesdays will require extended hours for consignment inventory scans.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must live in San Antonio TX or a surrounding area.
  • Must have high school diploma or GED (this will be verified).
  • Must have a valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
  • Must have reliable transportation as attendance and punctuality is important.
  • Must have the physical ability to lift push pull and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must have good prioritization and demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be attentive to details.
  • Must be able to work autonomously and also effectively with a team.
  • Must be a team player and professional in all settings.
  • Must be on time dependable ethical and possess high integrity.
  • Must be self-motivated a self-starter and a hard work ethic.
  • Must possess adaptability and flexibility.
  • Must have a fully functioning smartphone.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
