Responsibilities
- Manage incoming patient calls with professionalism and care ensuring no patient goes unanswered when the doctor is providing treatments
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments optimizing the practice calendar for maximum efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Serve as the bilingual liaison for Spanish-speaking patients providing seamless communication and cultural sensitivity
- Maintain accurate patient records by transcribing detailed treatment notes into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Data entry into the EHR system (updating appointment details inputting the days charges
- Handle billing administration and insurance processing with precision and attention to detail
- Coordinate with attorneys and legal professionals regarding medical records and billing for personal injury cases
- Provide comprehensive administrative support that allows the healthcare provider to focus entirely on patient care
- Manage the business phone system during office hours ensuring professional representation of the practice
Requirements
- Bilingual fluency required: Native or near-native proficiency in both English and Spanish (speaking reading writing)
- Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles preferably in healthcare settings
- Strong communication skills with a professional caring demeanor for patient interactions
- Experience with or willingness to learn Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical software
- Detail-oriented approach to data entry and medical documentation
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirements
