Job Description
Kick-start your finance career as an Assistant Financial Accountant at Nine! Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced supportive environment working across our iconic television radio and digital brands.

Day to day you will:
- Review and process accounting entries
- Assist in the processing of accounts payable including coding invoices and setting up vendors/contributors in accordance with company procedures
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring that discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly
- Support the month-end closing process including journal entries accruals prepayments and account reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for the business
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory guidelines
- Contribute to the improvement of accounting systems and processes
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
Qualifications :
What youll bring:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field is desirable
- Proven experience in a financial accounting or assistant accounting role
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to spot discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
