Job Description

Our client is a fast-growing ingredients distributor company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

  • Oversee coordinate and ensure the effective execution of the department s operational and business plans.

  • Identify approach and build relationships with potential customers and partners to expand target markets.

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and strategic partners within the assigned portfolio.

  • Control departmental budgets monitor inventory levels and manage receivables to meet business targets.

  • Supervise delegate and mentor sales team members ensuring skill development and performance improvement.

  • Build and nurture a high-performing sales team aligned with the company s growth strategy.

  • Recommend sales and customer care policies including pricing credit terms and discount structures to the Business Division Director and execute policies once approved.

  • Develop business plans and lead the rollout of sales initiatives to teams encompassing promotional activities technical consulting direct sales and market expansion in line with corporate objectives.

  • Manage sales forecasts inventory planning and debt recovery processes.

  • Direct oversee and monitor all sales operations to ensure consistent performance.

  • Lead marketing branding and market development campaigns.

  • Initiate design and implement training coaching and performance appraisal programs to enhance team capabilities.

  • Develop succession and talent pipeline plans to ensure business continuity and operational stability.


Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or higher in Economics Business Administration International Trade Pharmacy Engineering or related fields.

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a department head role.

  • Preferably with experience in trade FMCG or distribution industries.

  • Proficient in English; IELTS 6.5 or equivalent is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of market trends and industry dynamics.

  • In-depth product knowledge relevant to the business.

  • Expertise in customer acquisition and relationship management.

  • Solid experience in sales and cost management.

  • Strong reporting analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

  • Skilled in negotiation persuasion and conflict resolution.

  • Strategic planning and organizational skills.

  • Ability to lead develop and motivate teams.

  • Proficiency in market research and business development.
