Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related field or equivalent/years of experience required.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) / Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) preferred.
Experience:
- Total 5-6 years of experience
- Proven hands-on experience in configuration management DevOps or infrastructure operations with a strong focus on IT infrastructure and automation.
- Proven hands-on experience in developing Azure DevOps pipelines GitHub and GitHub Actions using YAML for CI/CD.
- Solid experience with Terraform (preferred) or ARM templates for Azure infrastructure provisioning.
- Proficient in version control systems such as GitHub and TFS; familiarity with other tools is a plus.
- Strong scripting skills and experience using PowerShell; exposure to Python and Bash is a plus especially for automating operational tasks.
- Good understanding of Azure services (e.g. Key Vaults Storage WebApps VMs Networking).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI) in addition to Azure-native tooling.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail in deployment and configuration management.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Good to have: Development experience with C# and SQL for debugging deployment scripting and query tuning.
