Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to lead the establishment and operational management of our new manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia.
Tasks
- Project Leadership: Oversee the entire project lifecycle for setting up the new production site in Dammam including strategic planning resource allocation and timeline management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local legal requirements and industry regulations maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
- Manufacturing Excellence: Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes taking into consideration Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Team Development: Identify key roles and recruit top talent for the local production team.
- Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality management systems ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to inspection protocols.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in leading international projects ideally as a Plant Manager or similar role within KSA.
- Legal Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of KSAs legal landscape for production sites with international legal experience being advantageous.
- Financial Expertise: Proficient in budgeting financing and cost control within manufacturing environments.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in crane engineering machinery steel fabrication or related industries with a focus on relevant technologies. Familiarity with automation and robotics in production is a plus.
- Process Improvement: Familiarity with Lean Management Kaizen or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- IT Knowledge: Experience with ERP systems like SAP
- Government Liaison: Experience interacting with local authorities and understanding their operational frameworks.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Arabic and English; German language is a plus.
