The Material Handler at our Nicholasville KY location involves working collaboratively to support the machines department to prepare gather and move parts for Industrial air filtration systems in an innovative team orientated environment. This is a 1st shift onsite role with hours Monday - Thursday 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Role Responsibilities:
Work and drive safely observing all EHS rules
Knowledge of and ability to process paperwork such as route sheets picklists etc.
Ability to read understand and utilize route sheets picklists and blueprints
Ability to operate an RF Scanner to locate parts
Ability to organize parts by job order per the work instructions
Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently
Material Handling and Transportation of Product
Perform other tasks as directed
Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required
Active involvement in DPS through continuous improvement and kaizen events
Must be able to work scheduled overtime hours
Assist other departments as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
High school degree or GED
Ability or willing to learn to operate a forklifts of various makes and models
Strong communications skills for interdepartmental efficiency
Previous experience with managing multiple tasks with a shift
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience operating a forklift
Previous experience with RF reader or other ERP systems
