Location: Rowlett TX 75088

Schedule: Thursday - Saturday 11am - 11pm

Job Type: Permanent Full-Time

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Description:

As a Multimodality Technologist you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams utilizing various imaging modalities including radiography computed tomography (CT) mammography and/or MRI depending on the needs of the facility. This role requires the ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform imaging procedures across multiple modalities (Radiography CT MRI Mammography etc.)
Maintain patient safety and comfort during exams.
Work closely with radiologists and medical staff to ensure accurate results.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
Adhere to regulatory and safety standards.
Assist in training new staff or students as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

Graduation from an accredited program in a relevant medical field.

Experience:

Less than 1 year of experience in the field.

Certifications and Licenses:

Basic Life Support (BLS): Required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT): Must be licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) unless the role specifically involves MRI or Ultrasound.
Other Relevant Certifications/Registrations:
- MRI and Ultrasound roles may require specific certifications like:
  - ARMRIT: American Reg MRI Tech
  - ARRT Certifications:
    - ARRT-Bone Density (ARRT-BD)
    - ARRT-Breast Sonography (ARRT-BS)
    - ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
    - ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M)
    - ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR)
    - ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N)
    - ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R)
    - ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S)
    - ARRT-Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI)
- Certifications for Diagnostic Medical Sonography:
  - RDMS-AB (Abdomen)
  - RDMS-BR (Breast)
  - RDMS-FE (Fetal Echocardiography)
  - RDMS-OB (OB/GYN)
  - RDMS-PS (Pediatric Sonography)
- Registered Vascular Tech (RVT): Certified in two imaging modalities and works 50% of the time in the second modality. Approved modalities include:
  - ARRT-R ARRT-CT ARRT-CV ARRT-M ARRT-MR ARRT-N ARRT-S ARRT-VI ARRT-BS ARRT-BD ARRT-CI RDMS-AB RDMS-BR RDMS-FE RDMS-OB RDMS-PS RVT CNMT or ARMRIT.
- Cardiac and Vascular Interventional Radiology Certifications:
  - ARRT-CI (Cardiac-Interventional)
  - ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology)
