Lifeguard Animator

A Lifeguard/Animator is responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of swimmers while also engaging guests with recreational and entertainment activities to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. This role combines lifeguarding responsibilities with animation duties to create a fun safe and interactive environment.

What will I be doing

As a Lifeguard/Animator you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers maintaining a clean pool area and leading recreational activities. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of swimmers.
• Ensure guests feel safe and comfortable in the pool area.
• Monitor pool activities to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Enforce and adhere to all pool rules and safety regulations.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety of the pool area.
• Complete general pool cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
• Follow emergency action plans and procedures when needed.
• Organize and lead recreational activities such as pool games fitness sessions and entertainment programs.
• Engage with guests to create a lively and fun atmosphere.
• Encourage guest participation in activities to enhance their experience.
• Work closely with other team members to coordinate events and recreational programs.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• First aid and CPR qualification.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• High standards of cleanliness and safety awareness.
• Ability to work in a consistently professional and helpful manner.
• Previous experience in a similar environment particularly in recreation or entertainment.
• Ability to lead and entertain groups of guests in activities and events.
