Job Responsibilities
- Participate in analytics and technology consulting projects engagements and research efforts
- Communicate and coordinate amongst Milliman Consultants project staff and our clients to meet milestones and timelines
- Contribute to technical deliverables using analytics software (for example SQL SAS Python Excel etc.)
- Take ownership of project deadlines and deliverables
- Design and develop a modeling approach to actuarial problems by utilizing large health claim datasets
- Oversee and/or perform Extract Transform Load (ETL) tasks on healthcare data including intake manipulation and quality assessment of enrollment medical claims and pharmacy claims
- Develop analytical and project roadmaps planning out the data to deliverable runway and identifying potential roadblocks ahead of time
- Participate in client meetings including occasional travel to client sites
Minimum requirements
- Bachelors degree required (Computer Science Management Information Systems Computer Engineering Data Analytics Math or related degree is preferred)
- 4 years of experience with healthcare claims data
- Basic proficiency inSQLPython or PowerBI
- Able to interpret scrub process and explain data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel

The Team
The Healthcare Data Analytics Manager will join a team that thrives on leveraging data analytics and technology to deliver meaningful business value. The Healthcare Data Analytics Manager will also join a mix of Healthcare Analysts Managers Consultants and addition as part of the broader Milliman landscape they will work alongside Healthcare Actuaries Pharmacists Clinicians and Physicians. Location
It is preferred that candidates work on-site at our Chicago IL Milwaukee WI or Hartford CT office. Remote candidates will be considered.

Compensation
The overall salary range for this role is $85100 - $168600 depending on a combination of factors including but not limited to education relevant work experience qualifications skills certifications location etc.
For candidates residing in:
- Alaska California Connecticut Illinois Maryland Massachusetts New Jersey Pennsylvania Virginia Washington or the District of Columbia the salary range is $93610 - $154550
- New York City Newark San Jose or San Francisco the salary range is $102120 - $168600
- All other states the salary range is $85100 - $140500
