Opportunity
The Community Fundraising and Growth Specialist is pivotal to amplifying the Leukaemia Foundations national footprint. The purpose of the role is to deliver tailored business development account management and localised plans to support the success of the Leukaemia Foundations signature campaigns community products and achieve holistic engagement of community-based supporters. Further the role is responsible for building a pipeline of third-party fundraisers and local partnerships through business development to increase engagement retention and financial growth across the Community Fundraising and Growth portfolio.
This role includes regular travel across New South Wales to meet with and support community fundraisers schools workplaces and local partners within your designated territory. Travel may involve both metro and regional areas with regular overnight stays required to ensure strong relationship building on-the-ground presence at key events and effective support for local fundraising activities.
Suitable applicants will have a demonstrated experience and understanding of excellent fundraising relationship management in community and peer-to-peer fundraising as well as demonstrated experience in business development and sales particularly to engage activate and retain new and existing relationships. Drivers licence and a working with childrens check along with flexibility and mobility to undertake business travel are requirements of this position.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of our Sydney Office in Artarmon. Leukaemia Foundation adopts a hybrid working model therefore if you have a suitable home workstation you will have the flexibility to work from home up to two days a week.
