About the Role
Based in BYDs Melbourne office in Mulgrave this role will support our Product Planning team for BYD and Denza Brand. On offer is a Senior Product Planning Specialist position and your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
- Lead the product planning process for new and existing vehicles.
- Define product features specifications and positioning based on market needs and company objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between product offerings and customer expectations.
- Market Analysis & Vehicle Lineup Strategy
Conduct in-depth market analysis including identifying trends customer preferences and competitive landscapes.
Develop and implement strategies for the vehicle lineup that maximize profitability and market share.
Monitor market performance pricing sales data and feedback to adjust product strategies as needed.
Key requirements:
- 5 years experience in Product Planning Product Management or a related role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of Australasias automotive market trends consumer needs technologies and competitive landscape.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Australian citizenship permanent residency or similar Visa unrestricted working rights.
