As a Senior Service Designer youll be working on projects that will involve designing brand identity and visual identities. Youll also be involved in the planning of new features or changes to existing functionality which can sometimes include redesigning entire platforms. You should have at least 2 years experience designing user interfaces for websites or mobile apps and some knowledge of responsive design principles would be beneficial.
Requirements
- Plan and manage the design research activities (research strategy ethnographic based user research secondary research UX research) collaboratively with the team
- Plan and execute system mapping customer journeys scenarios and service specifications
- Analyse research data identifying and generating meaningful insights and behavioural patterns
- Work closely with researchers designers contributing to the improvement of the design quality and final user experience
- Facilitate workshops with heterogeneous groups of clients and stakeholders
- Define and structure deliverables consistent with project goals
- Create presentations and design strategy documentations
- Manage user research and service design process drive decisions track issues and assist in estimating resource needs and schedules
- Collaborate with product owners and leaders to design solutions and strategic propositions
- Assembles relevant information from the customer market research and other subject matter experts to define design specifications and designs for the brand and products
- Works closely with marketing sales and product management to define the visual look and feel of the digital experience
- Performs QA testing on new digital assets
- Oversees the process of User Research and defining highlevel tasks and workflows for customer acquisition and service delivery processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in service design business design or a related design discipline
- 5 years of experience as a Service Designer in a senior design role with the ability to take on more complex service development projects
- 7 years of experience designing complex service design systems for multiple touchpoints projects.
- Minimum of three years experience designing and implementing web applications
- 5 years of experience designing and implementing serviceoriented architectures and architecture transformations in the Enterprise IT space with a focus on IBM WebSphere Portal (formerly Portal 8) preferred.
- Experience with 3D modeling CAD/CAM software and/or CNC machine shops preferred
- A background in visual and UX design will be considered as a plus
- Strong knowledge of user centred design processes and passionate about solving complex Service and UX challenges
- Strong background in service and strategic design
- Strong skills in conducting and synthesizing research insights and findings
- Strong skills in structuring and visualising journey maps service ideation concept communication and specification
- Excellent portfolio showcasing design solutions and strategic approaches.
