Job Description
Hostess (Automotive Industry) - Sandton Gauteng - Salary R10 000
A forward-thinking automotive group based in Sandton is seeking a vibrant and professional Hostess to be the face and voice of the business. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for customer service hospitality and digital engagement.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday: 08:00 - 17:30 and Saturday: 08:00 - 13:30
Additional hours as required (commission-based role)
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric) is essential

At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role
A qualification in Hospitality is advantageous

Tech-savvy and digitally literate
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Relations Showroom Engagement
- Be the welcoming face and create a memorable first impression
-
Greet and check in all visitors using digital health and safety systems
- Promote the use of immersive technology including VR cars tablets kiosks and showroom screens

Guide clients to the coffee shop lounge area or assigned consultant

Ensure the front-of-house remains clean professional and inviting
-
Support the team in creating a seamless interactive customer journey
Guest Relations Telephone & CRM
-
Handle incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism and empathy

Accurately load leads into the CRM with the correct source

Follow up on missed calls from platforms like Autotrader and Online Direct
-
Provide status updates to customers regarding their leads
Customer Feedback & Social Media Support
-
Capture photos and videos of customer handovers
-
Save and tag delivery files correctly (stock number date etc.)
- Secure consent and upload customer delivery content to WhatsApp groups and the server

Drive customer reviews
Admin & Team Support
- Assist Marketing and Customer Experience teams with reporting CRM and campaign follow-ups

Occasionally fill in for Reception duties

Ensure all leads reviews and delivery media are logged shared and reported
