A leading manufacturer in digital ink manufacturing delivering high-quality cutting-edge solutions for the digital printing industry is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing implementing monitoring and improving industrial processes to increase efficiency ensure product quality reduce waste and maintain safety standards.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Analyze existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement process control systems and automation to enhance productivity.
Lead cost-reduction initiatives and yield improvements without compromising quality.
Design and scale-up manufacturing processes from lab-scale to full production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D Quality and Maintenance to integrate new equipment or processes.
Create and maintain detailed process documentation such as PFDs SOPs and control plans.
Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with quality standards.
Perform root cause analysis and corrective action for process deviations and non-conformities.
Participate in audits and support regulatory compliance initiatives.
Identify and analyze production issues determining their root causes.
Continuously seek opportunities to anticipate and prevent potential problems.
Collect analyze and interpret process data to monitor trends and identify problems.
Ensure all processes adhere to environmental and occupational health and safety regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate safeguards.
Train team members & production staff on new processes.
Train and support production staff on proper use of equipment and adherence to processes.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering preferred; Mechanical & Industrial Engineering will be considered. At least 3 years of experience in a process engineering role in the manufacturing industry. Experience with lean manufacturing Six Sigma or other. Proficiency with drawing tools/software (preferably AutoCad & AutoCad Plant 3D). Project Management certificate and knowledge of GMP ERP and CMMS systems will be an advantage.
