Job Description
SQL Developer Office Based
Requirements:
- Technical Skills:
- Proven knowledge of SQL Server including database architecture indexing and performance tuning.
- Proficient in writing updating and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau or similar).
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with database backup recovery and security practices.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attitude is everything.
- Work Environment:
- The role is primarily onpremise
- Must have the ability to manage tasks effectively in both settings.
- There will be times where the candidate will work after hours and on weekends.
- Candidate will be required to work on general database updates data fixes batch executions etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and optimize SQL Server databases and queries to support business requirements.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction manipulation and analysis.
- Perform query optimization to ensure efficient database performance.
- Implement and manage data updates ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Design and develop Business Intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Document database structures queries and workflows.
