Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
ENVIRONMENT:
A rapidly expanding Logistics and E-commerce company based in Johannesburg is seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Consultant to join their this role you will be responsible for selling a broad portfolio of products to an existing customer base managing and processing orders during client visits or calls conducting cost-benefit and needs analyses to align solutions with customer requirements and actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth.
DUTIES:
- Sell a large portfolio of products to an existing customer base
- Be responsible for taking orders when calling on customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Present promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Establish develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs problems interests competitive activities and potential for new products and services
- Responsible for individual sales performance contributing to company performance.
- Growth value of company product portfolio.
- Ensure sales targets are met in line with company strategy and marketing plans within assigned geographical areas.
- To execute with excellence the company strategic sales and marketing plan.
- Marketing objectives to be achieved.
- Participate in all internal training programs.
- Participate in training and on boarding of new team members as well as self- development and organizational development.
- Look for new business opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Computer skills Microsoft Office.
- Excellent Selling and Negotiating skills.
- Minimum of 2 years sales/industry related work experience.
- Flexible approach to working hours with a willingness and ability to respond to needs outside office hours during the early morning evenings and weekends.
- Flexible approach to travelling.
- Fluent in Afrikaans & English
- Reside in JHB

- Good physical health / able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
