Our client is looking for an experienced Lab Technician to lead and oversee lab operations in a chemical extraction plant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the lab team in executing all stages of chemical extraction and processing.
- Monitor and optimize processes including extraction concentration separation and rectification.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols quality standards and operational SOPs.
- Support the acquisition and maintenance of laboratory certifications (e.g. ISO 9001 ISO 17025 GMP).
- Train mentor and supervise junior lab staff.
- Maintain meticulous lab records and documentation for audits and traceability.
- Liaise with plant and production teams to align lab operations with broader manufacturing goals.
- Conduct troubleshooting calibration and validation of lab equipment.
- Ensure raw material testing in-process checks and final product evaluations are accurate and timely.
Key Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with chemical handling safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Biochemistry or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a chemical lab/processing plant environment.
