Job Description
Essential Role Requirements:
- A drainage technician will be responsible for cleaning and surveying newly installed drainage pipes/systems as part of our residential new build housing Projects as well as the daily running and upkeep of provided equipment and van
- Cleaning drains using hand tools such as brushes rods and hoses
- Inspecting drain systems to locate clogs or leaks using cameras to pinpoint the problem spots
- Diagnosing problems with drain systems and identifying solutions to resolve them
- Cleaning pipes of debris using high pressure water jets or other methods
- Maintaining records of work performed on sewer systems
- Must be able to carry out detailed CCTV drainage surveys accurately assess system conditions and produce clear industry-compliant reports.
Desirable:
- High Pressure jet washing experience desired but not essential as full training will be provided
General Expectations:
- Reliable & punctual
- Able to work well with other trades and operatives on site and support the programme delivery on time.
- Right to work in the UK
Cards & Qualifications Required/Preferred :
- Confined Space Entry
- Jetting NVQ
- Pipe Sewer Condition Classification
- Water Jetting Drains & Sewers
- CSCS Card
