Job Description
We are looking for a Generator Technician to join our clients team.
Salary and Benefits:
- Negotiable
Responsibilities:
- Ensure 100% functionality of company generators
- Ensure all preventive planned maintenance is adhered to based on running hours.
- Installation and repairs of generators and auxiliary equipment like ATS Switchgear
- Ensure all jobs are done safely and SOPs are observed.
- Spares alignment and reconciliation
- Respond promptly to emergency callouts and provide after-hours support when needed.
- Conduct inspections and performance testing of generators to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 2 3 years experience in generator maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines alternators control panels and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards and procedures.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A valid drivers license is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Diesel Plant Fitting Electrical Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or equivalent trade qualification.
