Job Description

Our client a well-established player in the transport and logistics sector is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with proven experience along the Beira Lusaka corridor. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing loads negotiating transport contracts and expanding the companys footprint in the SADC region. This role requires a strong commercial acumen existing networks across the corridor and the ability to operate effectively across borders.

Key Responsibilities:
Secure and manage cross-border loads for the companys fleet of trucks focusing on the Beira Lusaka corridor.
Build and maintain relationships with clearing agents freight forwarders shippers and cargo owners in Mozambique Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Negotiate and manage transport contracts ensuring profitability and compliance with service level agreements.
Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
Monitor market trends competitor activity and rate structures in the region.
Collaborate with operations and fleet teams to ensure efficient scheduling and on-time deliveries.
Prepare and deliver regular sales reports forecasts and strategic plans to senior management.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in transport/logistics sales with a strong cross-border focus.
Demonstrated experience working on the Beira Lusaka trade route is essential.
Established client base and network across Mozambique Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Solid understanding of customs clearance transit documentation and cross-border compliance.
Proven ability to negotiate commercial contracts and close high-value deals.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to travel regionally as required.
