Job Description
Hire Resolves client a reputable and dynamic construction firm based in Stellenbosch known for delivering highquality residential and commercial developments is currently seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be an Afrikaansspeaking professional with at least 2 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Candy/CCS software. This is an excellent opportunity for a young professional looking to advance their career in a supportive and growthoriented environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
Perform cost control forecasting and financial reporting
Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes
Monitor project progress and track variations
Assist with contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual terms
Prepare valuations for interim payments and final accounts
Work closely with project managers contractors and stakeholders
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
Fluent in Afrikaans (spoken and written)
Proficient in Candy/CCS software
Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
Strong analytical negotiation and communication skills
Based in or willing to relocate to Stellenbosch
