Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Qlikview/PowerBI Specialist to join our team in Durban on a 3month basis with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance modelling and proficiency in developing dashboards using software tools such as QlikView and PowerBI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support various business operations and decisionmaking processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable financial models and dashboards.
- Design build and implement interactive dashboards using QlikView and PowerBI to visualize key financial metrics and trends.
- Perform data analysis to identify insights and trends and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within financial models and dashboards by implementing proper validation and verification procedures.
- Provide training and support to endusers on how to effectively utilize financial models and dashboards.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in finance modelling and data visualization technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in finance modelling with at least 5 of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in using software tools such as QlikView and PowerBI to develop interactive dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Detailoriented mindset with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Bachelors degree in IT Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
Contract Terms:
- Duration: 3month FixedTerm Contract with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
- Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Work Schedule: Fulltime officebased in Durban.
