Key responsibilities:
- To support the Relationship Manager with the day-to-day administrative functions portfolio management entrenchment and operational functions for an allocated portfolio.
- To ensure that all compliance requirements within the portfolio are met and act as a central contact point for the client providing sales and service fulfilment aligned to segment targets.
- Is accountable for assisting Relationship Manager in the day-to-day execution of their credit portfolio.
- To support the Relationship manager to grow and retain a portfolio of high value Premium & Growth Business Segment relationships by performing a proactive mobile value adding financial partnership role.
- Ensures deep understanding of Customers business through regular interaction with clients including their place of business.
- Employs the use of client value chain analysis to understand customer needs and deploy banking and financial solutions to meet those needs.
- To do complex financial analysis on annual financial statements management accounts and cash flow projections.
- To write and motivate agricultural and business finance applications and to successfully present the case to a business and credit lending committee.
- Managing the credit process from start to end including the collateral and the monitoring as well as annual review of all clients with credit facilities.
- To build trust credibility and confidence with Agricultural and Business Clients.

Qualifications :
FAIS accredited Undergraduate or Honours qualification in:
- BCom Management Accounting
- BCom Accounting
- BCom Agricultural Economics
- BSc Agricultural Economics
- SAICA Articles/CA(SA) (advantageous)
- CIMA Qualified (advantageous)
Undergraduate or honours qualification to be completed by 31 December 2025.
