Credit Risk Modeller Lending & Analytics
Are you ready to turn data into decisions Join a forward-thinking lending team as a Credit Risk Modellerwhere your analytical expertise will help shape smarter faster and more accurate credit decisions across both consumer and merchant portfolios.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build refine and validate credit risk models for merchant and consumer advances.
- Develop credit scoring tools to support strategic lending decisions.
- Monitor and optimise model performance to ensure accuracy and business value.
- Work closely with data engineers and analysts to guarantee high-quality data inputs.
- Deliver clear and audit-ready model documentation and validation reports.
- Support regulatory stress testing scenario modelling and capital planning.
- Champion the integration of risk models into production systems using R Python SQL or similar tools.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in data science modelling and regulatory standards.
- A degree in Statistics Actuarial Science Data Science Quantitative Risk Management or similar.
- 37 years of hands-on experience in credit risk financial modelling or data analytics.
- Solid grasp of credit lifecycle scoring methodologies and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in Python R SQL or other statistical programming tools.
- Experience with fintech or fast-paced data-heavy environments is a bonus.
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks is an advantage.
- A critical thinker with a natural curiosity for data and trends.
- Detail-obsessed with a passion for precision and model integrity.
- A clear communicator who can translate numbers into narratives.
- Highly organised proactive and able to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Driven to make a measurable business impact using cutting-edge modelling.
- Youll work with a team that values data-driven decisions and innovation.
- Build and influence end-to-end risk strategies for a growing credit portfolio.
