Job Description

Credit Recovery Specialist - School Year position

Specific Core Function:

  • To supervise high school credit recovery learning labs.

Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Service individual students or groups as assigned by the School Principal or guidance department;
  • Follow the assigned curriculum and procedures established to achieve the program objectives;
  • Maintain records and student information as required by the School Principal and/or Educational Opportunities Coordinator;
  • Maintain order and cleanliness in assigned work area;
  • Participate in in-service training and apply knowledge to instruction;
  • Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the School Principal and/or Educational Opportunities Coordinator to achieve program goals;
  • Implement classroom coordination of instruction according to program goals;
  • Complete quarterly reports of students progress under the direct supervision of the Educational Opportunities Coordinator.

Specified Length/Hours of Position:
This is an affiliated (MESPA) position under theEducation Support Personnelnegotiated contract following the school calendar. Salary is set at Grade 13 $20.74/hour 7 hours per day.
