Job Description
Credit Recovery Specialist - School Year position
Specific Core Function:
- To supervise high school credit recovery learning labs.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Service individual students or groups as assigned by the School Principal or guidance department;
- Follow the assigned curriculum and procedures established to achieve the program objectives;
- Maintain records and student information as required by the School Principal and/or Educational Opportunities Coordinator;
- Maintain order and cleanliness in assigned work area;
- Participate in in-service training and apply knowledge to instruction;
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the School Principal and/or Educational Opportunities Coordinator to achieve program goals;
- Implement classroom coordination of instruction according to program goals;
- Complete quarterly reports of students progress under the direct supervision of the Educational Opportunities Coordinator.
Specified Length/Hours of Position:
This is an affiliated (MESPA) position under theEducation Support Personnelnegotiated contract following the school calendar. Salary is set at Grade 13 $20.74/hour 7 hours per day.
